Amanda Hsieh helps business leaders and industries improve long-term value by guiding the integration of sustainability into their business. Amanda is Vice President of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) at ClimeCo and specializes in providing business-aligned sustainability solutions and advice to clients. She brings 25 years of broad sustainability and business experience with a solution-oriented approach.
Previously, Amanda served as Chief Operations Officer at Global Affairs Associates until the company was acquired by ClimeCo. She also worked to improve social and environmental conditions in IKEA’s North and South American supply chains and reduce the environmental footprint of its products. Amanda contributed to the redesign of IKEA’s global supplier sustainability scorecard and led the annual sustainability data collection for her region. She started her career at IKEA on the purchasing side of the company, eventually overseeing the largest supplier group in the region and delivering lower prices, shorter lead times, better product quality and healthier products.
Amanda is the co-host of the ESG Decoded podcast and co-founder of the Resilient Business Forum.
She earned a B.B.A. in Finance from McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin.
